Stop thinking that it's a coincidence

Coincidence is how people find ways to relate events to something desirable and wanting to believe that it is miracle.  

Coincidence is how we relate our past to present, current with another and it has no value added.  Every event happens on its own and has no correlation with anything at all.

SHE really answered my prayers

I am very happy today indeed for the path she'd shown me.  It's very clear and showered with things I needed most.  I am thankful and she really mean it when she said I shall get what I hope once I made that difficult move.  And I did and the reflection is immediate.  I believe good days are nearer.  Thank you, Lao Mu...

up to what again?

This person hurt me bad and return out from MIA and promised to deliver something.  Again, excuses and at least everything is confirmed.  My decision is right.  Whatever the intention, I'm just hoping that every wrong this person did should not be repeated.  I forgave and move on because,of only by doing so, release me from the cycle of karma.

Words of Wisdom

Do what you can do today, you will not regret it tomorrow.

Fear not of what will happen tomorrow as you will face it when it comes.

As long as it is rightful, do it and you will be blessed as you progress.

Tao's view of Spells, Fortune Teller and God, Goddess at the temple

Spells

Certain people have the ability to cast a spell.  Some is with good intention but most of them are of bad intentions.  We hear about, bomoh, voodoo, kumantong, love spells etc, etc.  These thing do exists and it cannot be proven scientifically now.

Tao's perspective: This has temporary effect.  Be it hurt or joy.  You cannot hurt other people if it is not what is prescribed in the book of karma. 


Fortune Teller

Fortune Teller has the ability to see the near future.  Some good ones are able to tell the bad lucks that are coming in the way and able to let you skip over it.

Tao's perspective: This has temporary effect.  There is nobody can change what your life leads to.  If you are destined to be cheated, you may be able to skip that effect with the help of the fortune teller, but as far as Karma rules are, you will be cheated too in other ways.


God, Goddess at the temple

 These God, Goddess are used to be people with good deeds and have once lived.  They are worshiped in the temple.

Tao's perspective: They are being promoted to God, Goddess due to the good deed during their stay with the humans.  Therefore, they serve as God and Goddess for certain amount time before they return to the world as human again as part of Karma cycle.  Only enlightenment from the Tao will help them escape from the cycle.

Karma

There are 2 major types of people round you. The first is to rip you off and the second is to reward you. This is what my religion has thought me.

First type of person : -No matter how you wish to ignore and end the relationship to the one that you are hating, you cannot do so, it is because, the life that you are in is all planned by Almighty. Also applies to, the one you feel your life is dependent upon that person - eg. children, spouse, family.

Second type of person :-these are the people who will give support to you - materialistic or non-materialistic ways. they will be there for you without you expecting them.

Yes, these people are in the package of Karma. What you have now is what you did in the past life, current life.

Depressed

what is right what is wrong? I am stuck in a position where, I am very lost between the right thing to do and the ability to do something. This is 2 different paths.

I do not have the answer but I think back of the story about a woman who has 2 sons. One is selling umbrella, another one selling ice-cream. the moral of this story is to think positive. there's little joy in everything that happen. You can't control the weather but you can control what you think.

Why I feel so down. It was because of the guilt. I have been guilty of what I have not done better. My doubt on my ability has been the strongest reason that withheld me. Now I will understand why people choose to end their life, I wont. Because of her, because of the family i have, and because of the ones that cares and because Tao forbids us.

To leave, is the dream I will pursue. To leave with or without her is the thing I am contemplating. Will I give her what she deserve?

2 Minutes Updo for Work

Female need to tied up the hair, ideally to make a hair bun to give respect during the classes. I am so dummy in hair bun making but in the next class i am goin to try this out. Looks easy.

Halt

Pessimistic about life, seems like there's no way through. This is temporary but not to the person who has to wait.

Stop nagging about what you can't change. If you would like a listener, you can just forget about it. There's no one to help except you have to stand up on your on.

For whatever the reason, go through it. Negotiate and compromise if there's need to. Not everything pleases you but you have to make decisions and be ready to lose some even if you think you are the losing party. Life's never fair. Fairness exists when there's visible proof. For the non-visible ones, God will make judgement.

All that has happened, is part of the test. There's no need to feel bad. There's no need to tell the whole world and seek for their sympathy coz it will make you feel just as worst.

Be realistic and you will find happiness.

The teaching is about Lao Tze's message to fellow followers.

Gratitude. There was this woman who has 2 adult sons. One of them is into Ice-Cream biz while the other one is selling umbrella. Whenever there's change of weather, the woman would feel bad about the other son which would not be able to make good business. Lao Tze's message is simple. He's saying that we should see what we have and not looking at what we don't have. for example, the woman should have look on the bright side and cheerful that the other son is able to make a business.

Quiet and speech less? This one is a bit vague. I think Lao Tze's message is to ask us not to gossip and speak what is truthful so that we can gain respect from everyone.

Responsibility. A young girl had to carry her brother for miles since he is sick. then when she arrived at the clinic, she was asked "Girl, are u tired?" The girl said no because she didn't see her brother as burden. Just plainly, she said "cos he is my brother". if you would just attend to your obligations as if they were your life, you will not feel that it is a burden.

We have been enlightened and we should continue to keep our heart lit on so that we r bright from within and so, we will shine like Lao Mu does. :D

Class - 11/10/2011

Dear Reader

 

As I was waiting for the rest to be ready for the class last night, I was asked to calm myself with the sacred grasp of hands.  I closed my eyes and see illusions of Lao Mu and Lao Tze as I was calling for them in my subconscious mind.  I see Lao Mu as if she’s dancing and making circles in front of the altar and facing myself.  I don’t understand what she was doing until I have gone through that day’s teachings.

 

I feel strongly that there’s a message from her.  And it is related to spinning top (Gasing in Malay Language) a topic in yesterday’s teaching.

 

Lao Tze told us that we humans are like a spinning top.  The spins represents that we keep on moving, twist and turns – with all the stress, problems, fantasies, greed, temptations, obligation that this world has created.  As we spin/live, we must not forget that we need to stay on it’s tip.  The tip represents our heart and devotion to Tao.  Life in this world is temporary and never end cycles of Karma.  We have been in this world 60k years and Lao Mu , Lao Tze is calling us to return to their sides.  In order to successfully do so, we will need to pass a test in life so that we will break the cycle of Karma.

I found this site, the article attracts me and applicable to my religious journey with Tao. It's discussing about body detox for health. So, here's my comment:

I like the idea of body detox. One of the perfect way is to be a vegetarian. When taken wisely, vege can replace all nutrients which we are able to extract from meat/non vege. It is also the right way to save this planet. From religious point of view, it is also worth the sacrifice. Every creatures deserve the right to stay alive. I have taken vege (not a strict vegetarian), means that I still goes to restaurants that serve meat as dish. It eliminates body adour and purify the blood. By being a vegetarian, you'll be more healthy and also look good. There are many natural anti-oxidant found in vege and fruits.

Concentration to what you achieve

We lost our attentiveness and concentration at something we wish to achieve. We let something/someone wander into our mind to find temporary pleasure, in short 'day dreaming of something which is not true'. This is a test from God & Devil. Overcome this and there's a true PERSON waiting to award you with success at the end of the road. Once you reach that path, you will see that Devil is smiling and compliment you for the good job. You can overcome this by taming your wild heart, calm it down with determination to your goal.

Love

Love for those who has biological connections is a must.
Love for those who has no biological connection is a lust.
Love for spouse/soul partner/lover is a sign of cause (past life) & effect (this life).
We are born to this life with love from parents. We did not do well to repay their love and easily fall in to love with others due to 'lust'. When we leave this life, there's nothing else that will mourn besides your love ones. Love is temporary and end as soon as our last breathe. We should treasure this connection as much as we should with no regrets. We forbid insincerity as it creates hatred and never ending cause/effect cycle.

trust what's fake, not believing what's truth

Ren Jia Wei Zen. It's typical human thoughts. Human tends to trust what is beautiful, wanting to own what's perfect, believing in materialistic world. We have lost rationalism in our thoughts. I will learn to think and behave rationally.

Vow

- to attend taoism class every 1st n 15th chinese lunar calendar, to help whenever possible.
- to donate and to serve for the sake of Tao.
- i can help the animals by not eating them.

A calm, open heart is just a single thing everyone needs to have

Calm down and everything will be alright.

Respect to parents

I have not do this well enough. I should be doing it while it is not too late. I believe most of us is not doing enough to respect our parents.

Thankful

Be thankful because for all that happens, for all the negative things especially when all humans have hatreds, anger, resentment... are all planned by Almighty before we are in this world. Be thankful just because you have your flesh, your own body and now that you are still breathing In and Out.

Life and death

Every human has it's own day. Our journey in this life is like a dream and we'll never know when it'll end. It's sad to depart but all we can do is to live life with no regrets, treasure people around us and do good deeds.

How to deal with difficult situations?

Difficult situations are created by the Almighty. This is their tests to see if you are a good-hearted person. How you react to the tests determine how you are ranked in their eyes. If you would calm down, and you will pass the test then you will go up a level.
